The learning has officially begun for the year - we started early because we are big info sucking dorks and actually like to "do school" as my little guy puts it.
It's fun - it's eclectic - sorta Waldorf - definitely child centered and led.

Really??
3 days before the birth of my baby...was I really posting stupid "my porn name is..." posts??
Well I will certainly blame that on crazy sleepless "when is this baby coming out" nights and extreme boredom! and even though I very much want to delete it - I'm going to leave it there to be reminded that careless posting can lead to embarrassing blog moments.
Ha. Let that be a lesson to me.
So yes. The baby DID FINALLY COME OUT!! Not the way I thought either - I ended up having a C-section!! Crazy nuts eh?
But she's beautiful.

Your Porn Star Name Is... |

First, find a positive helper who's excited to take on the challenge!

After you cut the pieces of casting material, dip them in hopefully warm water - mine was NOT - just look at my miserable face!
And plaster those babies right onto the big belly.
Try to have fun :)

Thanks to my local Freecycle for this fat donation of men's ties.
I have some ideas to use the neckties for the straps of tote bags - so we'll see!
If ever created, of course they'll be sold at All Natural Me!
New bangs for Sadie!
I thought I'd mix up the straight-across snip with a little angle and center point.
I like-y.
I love using an all natural bar of soap in the bathroom but I hate how one side of it gets slimy!
Here's the solution:

Glass pebbles in the soap dish - for drainage!
No more gross soap.

La familia is doing great. I'm getting super huge - the cartoon really is not exaggerating!
Ayden's been filling up his 4 year old schedule with dance class, swimming lessons, play dates and homeschool field trips.
Today we toured the Postal Headquarters in DuBois - which I should really put on his blog along with hundreds of other pictures.
Honestly, there really is way too much shit on my 2-do list!!
Much love!

Kudos to me ~I made a bunch of nursing pads for the breastfeeding days soon to come!
3 layers of flannel from an old sheet and fleece on the outside for (hopefully) leak proof protection. Just a quickie zig-zag stitch around the edges.

One of Ayden's favorite things to do is go wild with the digital camera.
He loves taking pictures of all his toys, crafts and even movies he digs.
Look! He even digs his mama!!
and his square German crayons that cost a fortune
(Thanks for sponsoring that Mama B!)
More of Ayden's fantastic 4 year old photography is featured on his blog: http://preschoolathome.blogspot.com/

(sometimes the truth comes out in emails to strangers)
......the more I reflect on *the stuggle & the good fight* the more I realize that one must continue to do what they feel compelled to do, yet not be brought down by it all.
we all have to do our part - keep our dedication but at some point you need to allow yourself the freedom from other people's ignorance and really just concentrate on YOUR journey.
I know I can sometimes get obsessed with *saving the world* and it takes a lot of time & energy to keep on spreading the word about good things and it can really drain me and I always have to remember to keep some of my zest - my life force - my energy - my spirit for myself so at the end of the day, I can still be Me in this body and not out of my mind.

Well it didn't happen like that but we are officially dog owners!

Meet Tubbie! When I rescued him he was nothing but a ball of fluffy hair infested with fleas, ear mites and no concept of house breaking. The cute little shit-zu looking thing was a peeing machine ALL over my floor.
Hey I DID want to start cleaning more....
Now a week and over 200 dollars later, Tubbie is doing great and looks a lot different. He got a very short haircut from Doggie Styles in DuBois to get rid of the fleas. I let her use flea shampoo and then do another wash with regular.
Ahh...this dog has totally screwed up A LOT of the Natural Me Stuff I'm going for - He used un-natural products, got a vaccination for rabies so we could get him licensed, took a wormer, got chemicals in his ears and let me tell you, he does not eat like a vegetarian.
I will try my best to get him on the path to being a *natural me doggie*!!

Tubbie is making leaps 'n bounds in his house training - I take him outside a lot especially after he naps, eats or has an exciting playtime and when we get outside, I tell him to "Get Busy" and that's his cue to pee or poo.
Hey, doing that along with using a crate at night and when I leave are working super fast in hopefully someday bringing back my living room rug! It'll be a long time before we have that trust but we are definitely enjoying the little guy who I guess is a mix between and Labrador Retriever and a Lhasa Apso. Yes, it's an interesting mix isn't it!?!
So I'm not getting ANYTHING else done but we're having fun! If you want to hang out with The Tubernator ~ Look him up on Dogster.com
